Kendra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated with Masters in Social Work from Monmouth University. She has over three years of experience working in the mental health field in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Kendra specializes in Children and adolescents, Depression, and Trauma therapy; though she has a very well rounded background and enjoys working with all populations including but not limited to adult and senior, addiction, emotion regulation, mood and anxiety disorders, chronic pain, behavior change and coping skills, relationships, disordered eating, gender identity, grief, and substance use. Kendra has both virtual and in person availability at our Freehold office. She is credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and has additional training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) techniques. Her services are covered by most private plans, or a bill of service can be provided for out of network benefits.
Kendra is very individualized in her therapeutic approach and uses a range of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, and Mindfulness. Kendra’s therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, and client centered; with the hope that clients leave each session feeling like they have evolved. She is solution focused and maintains that the goals of the client are always the priority in therapy.
